From 1962
Our story
The story of Plan Murin begins over sixty years ago, when Raimund’s father, the local butcher, started offering rustic snacks of bread, speck, and cheese to those staying in the four simple rooms of the family home.
In the 1970s and 1980s, our home grew alongside the tourism in Val Badia. With the closure of the family butcher shop in 1993 and the subsequent renovation of two floors in 2006, the hotel began to transform into a more modern and welcoming place.
The major expansion in 2020, which involved most of the building, marked the birth of the current Plan Murin as an exclusive 3-star superior hotel with a panoramic relaxation and wellness area. It was an important transformation, carried out without ever losing our essence, which is that of a true mountain home where

Our location in La Val is special. We are in the heart of the village, surrounded by tranquility. In front of us, the bell tower; behind, the woods and meadows from which trails lead to the Sasso di Santa Croce group and the Prati dell’Armentara. What makes this place unique is there are no shops, restaurants, or bars.
On foot, you can reach the ski and bike rental, the village services, and the public bus and skibus stop that take you to the Dolomiti Superski slopes. Everything is nearby, yet far from the hustle and bustle of the city: the true privilege of Plan Murin is its peace.
